Not by guestimating, but by market based-benchmarking and thorough analysis. You could say that we literally calculate the total potential for higher profitability in one ball-park figure. From there we start working on a step-by-step improvement plan with the management team(s).
The big advantage of this approach is that we focus on real bottom line impact. We won’t implement lean techniques and burn time on expensive training.
